The CHRISTUS St. Michael Atlanta Foundation recently donated $4,775 for the purchase of three new specially designed infusion patient recliners used by patients during infusion therapy.

What is it about music that magically transforms an everyday activity into a memorable experience? The ambience of Downtown Atlanta has officially been enhanced as of last week, when the Atlanta City Development Corporation finally brought the dream of having downtown sound to life.

We, the Friends, are working hard to support the Atlanta Public Library and help you, the public, get great deals on thousands of hard back books. Twice a year the library rounds up and purges hundreds of books to make room for the latest most fabulous selections of incredible literature which are added to the shelves in the Atlanta Public Library for your reading pleasure. When you run out of space, what do you do with the excess volumes of reading material? You call “The Friends of the Library” and they go to work setting up a huge massive book sale for the public to peruse and select anything and everything that your heart could possibly desire. And, the best kept secret is, take any that you’d like to read or give away as a gift to loved ones, and make a donation as you go out the door. There are no limits! All donations will go to the library and be utilized for everything needed, whether it’s for the kids or various functions during the year.
