On Thursday, April 1st, our AMS Concert Band, under the direction of Mr. David Thompson, traveled to New Boston High School to perform at the UIL Concert and Sightreading Contest.

DISTRICT - 2nd place team: All-Star Cast Award - Aubrey Anthony & Brendan Clayton; Honorable Mention Cast - Caitlin Morris; and Outstanding Tech Award - Carson Sullivan.
First graders in Mrs. Maxwell’s class at J.K. Hileman Elementary were excited to show off the plants that grew from the seeds they planted during the last STEAM Extravaganza.
