Beard’s painting of her childhood memories of Bivins is a masterpiece for many Cass Countians. Beard lived for many years in Atlanta and won local and state awards for her art work.

The Linden-Kildare School Board has announced the retirement of Linden- Kildare Superintendent Kerry Winters. Winters has served in the district since 2012 and as the Superintendent since 2017. March 29, 2024, will be her last day.
