Bag 903 celebrates reopening

In April of last year Jamie Jeans interviewed Keyeria Webster-Gregory. At the time she was currently working on her senior year at Texas A&M, while balancing three kids and working as a pharmacy technician for Walmart while also getting her new business going, Bag 903. That has changed somewhat now as she has moved to a new location and is no longer working for Walmart, and is instead running her business full time.

Congratulations

Monday, Cademon Larson and Sam Jones started debating at 9 a.m. and finished their last round at 6:15 p.m., this was a grueling day. Please congratulate them on advancing to the octofinals with a 4-0 record!!! In addition to that Cademon took home the 5th top speaker award out of 102 competitors, this is a huge accomplishment!

140 Years!

Saint Paul C.M.E Atlanta, Texas celebrated their 140th Church Anniversary on March 20, 2022 at 1 p.m., the Pastor is Richard Tennison. Guest speaker was Rev. Johnathan Stanmore from First Baptist Church. Food was served afterwards.

Starkes appointed area engineer

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) would like to announce that Wendy Starkes, P.E., has been named the Mount Pleasant area engineer for the Atlanta District. In her new position, Starkes will be responsible for maintenance and construction activities in Titus, Camp, Upshur and Morris Counties.
