Judge Travis Ransom issued a proclamation at the Atlanta CPS office on April 18. Child abuse, according to the Child Advocacy Center, “estimated that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be victims of sexual abuse before their 18th birthday.” Of those numbers, only one in ten will ever tell someone about their abuse. Also, more than 90% of child victims are abused by someone they know and trust. Almost one million reports of child abuse are confirmed each year in the U.S.
Chris Spencer presented a lunch with Texas Department of Agriculture Sid Miller at 5D Steakhouse on April 18,2023.Miller talked about his accomplishments,and things he plans to do in the future. Miller also handed out honorary Commissioner Awards. Paul Hale was one of the beneficiaries.
