Motorcyclist loses control

Jacoby Arterburn lost control of his motorcycle on Tuesday at approximately 2:45 p.m. when it appeared he hit a patch of dirt near the edge of the curb causing him to hit the curb, losing control of his motorcycle and ended in the yard just down from where he first lost control. Atrerburn was taken to Christus St. Michael in Atlanta and scheduled to be airlifted to Texarkana. Arterburn had minor movement as he was facedown on the grass.The Journal- Sun has reached out to Atlanta PD for more information.When this story was written, no additional details have been given.The motorcycle accident was one of several accidents this week in the Atlanta area.

About 30 kids hopped up to Linden Library Saturday for a total turnout of about 50-60 folks for the Library’s Easter celebration. Denise Haas, Librarian said a pair of boys posing with the Easter bunny won a trophy for the theee-legged-race, and two girls pictures with the bunny won a trophy for the spoon and egg race. Luke Fenley and Eva Lazara both won Easter Baskets and children enjoyed crafts.“A wonderful time was had by all,” Haas said.“A huge thank you to Mary Dowd, Natalie Simon, Lynn Reynolds, and Flo Stevenson for all their help.We Couldn’t have done it without them.” Haas said a special shout-out goes to Clifton Colliflower for parading as Easter Bunny.
