A local woman who went missing more than three weeks ago after walking away from her home on Sept 18 has still not been seen, according to Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe.
Alisha Long was named Atlanta’s City Secretary recently. Long earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas and has a graduate certificate in Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Long and her husband Ervin have three children. “I am grateful for an opportunity to support the community while allowing my talents to shine,” Long said.

The JE Manning American Legion Post 258 is hosting a Fall Community Yard Sale on Saturday, October 15th from 8 AM - 5 PM. In order to not conflict with the Maker’s Market the week prior, we welcome not only the Maker’s Market Vendors, individuals purging from their house and also small businesses to the event! The American Legion will be selling flags, Memorial Bricks, pre-packaged meals and general fundraising opportunities.
