On October 26, Members of Mark Epperson Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 held marker ceremonies at the graves of Real Daughters of 1812, women whose fathers are 1812 patriots. This year's best costumes for Halloween may have been these three.The three are dressed as actual comic characters. In the picture at the Atlanta Public Library, from left, is Bowser, Luigi and Princess Peach as characters. In actuality, they are the Spence family of Katie, Dayne and Francis.

Queen City man missing

Ronald Ray Chitty, 56, white male, 6’11” 160 lbs. has been missing since October 11, 2024, in Queen City, Texas. He was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. Chitty has blue eyes, and brown, balding hair and suffers from several medical disorders and has not had his medication since his disappearance.
