Bryan Lee Simmons, 49, of Cass County was indicted March 18 by a federal grand jury and charged with conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and using a firearm during and in relation to drug trafficking. Simmons was ordered detained pending trial.

The donation matches that which was donated on behalf of NFL player partner Williams. The summit is only the first in a series of programs. The second program, which will take place after the start of the school year, will have the teens interact with local law enforcement to aid in building trust, educate them on community policing, and afford law enforcement the opportunity to better understand how the teens view them.
