Ron Mays, Sr.

Ron Mays, Sr. age 62, of Atlanta, Texas went to be with the Lord Monday, August 19, 2019 in Doddridge, Arkansas.

Ron, Sr. was born March 3, 1957 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Frank Mays and Claudine Foster.

He was retired from Roy Heflin Trucking; and enjoyed spending time doing outdoors activities especially fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by nine children, Shawna Griffin of Atlanta, Texas, Donna Mays of Domino, Texas, Rhonda Mays of Atlanta, Texas, Kristie Alvarez of Atlanta, Texas, Roni Simmons and husband Jerry of Linden, Texas, Michael Mays and wife Darci of Genoa, Arkansas, Amanda Mays of Domino, Texas, Ronnie Mays, Jr. of Atlanta, Texas, Cody Mays of Atlanta, Texas; two brothers, John Michael Mays of Domino, Texas, Frankie Mays, II of Doddridge, Arkansas; three sisters, Karen McCorkle of Prescott, Arkansas, Pam McDonald of Little Rock, Arkansas, Cissy Mosley of Atlanta, Texas; special friend, Elizabeth Mays of Doddridge, Arkansas; and a number of grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 22, 2019 in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bill Robinson officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral service.
