LINDA Y. CLAYTON

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Y. Clayton, 71, of Laneville, will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home with Bro. David Dumas and Bro. Burton Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Laneville Cemetery under the direction of Crawford - A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.

Mrs. Clayton passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 6, 1948 in Atlanta, Texas to Alvy F. and Thelma Bernice Little Thomas.

She was a hairdresser and began her career at Dells Hair Salon in Atlanta. Mrs. Clayton became a resident of Rusk County in 1989.

She was member of Pentecostal Lighthouse in Mt. Enterprise.

Mrs. Clayton was preceded in death by her father, Alvy F. Thomas; and her step-father, Royce O. Goodman.

Survivors include: her husband, Bill Clayton of Laneville; mother, Bernice “Bea” Goodman of Longview; children, Angie Keen and husband Pete of Laneville, Mike Clayton and wife Susan, Kevin Clayton; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

The family would like to give special thanks to all the nurses and nurses aide, Shay, with Hospice of East Texas for the wonderful care that they provided.

Pallbearers will be Charles Baldwin, Jacob Norris, Greg Terry, James Lankford, Gary Cook, and Pete Keen. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Crump, and her grandchildren. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
