Walter Raymond “Butch” Baxter, 71, of Linden passed away November 30, 2019. Mr. Baxter was born April 1, 1948 in Missouri to Andrew and Opal Baxter. Butch served his country proudly in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Opal Baxter; brothers, Doc and Byron Baxter; sisters, Sue, Jo and Kay Baxter; one daughter, Andrea Baxter and one great-grandson, Daultyn Slaten.
Services were at 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 6, 2019 at Bear Creek Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
