MARY KATHERINE MCELHANEY

Mary Katherine McElhaney, 79, of Queen City, TX passed away December 11, 2020 in a local nursing home. Mrs. McElhaney was born October 25, 1941 in Noble, OK. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Atlanta, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Duncan McElhaney.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Dale Endsley of Bivins, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lori McElhaney of Austin, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Acey Holmes of Marshfield, MO and Shirley LeJeaune of Marshfield, MO, Janet Maldonado of GA and Ozell Cochran of OK; grandchildren, Katherine and Jason Forrest of Flint, TX, Valerie and Ryan Satterwhite of Austin, TX, Melissa and Joshua Eaves of Texarkana, TX and Matthew and Candice McElhaney of Austin, TX; great grandchildren, William Forrest of Flint, TX, Andrew Forrest of Flint, TX, Savanna Satterwhite of Austin, TX and Sarah Forrest of Flint, TX , Lucy McElhaney and Clare McElhaney both of Austin, Texas ; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service in the near future.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Heritage Hospice or Gideons International.
