DEWEY WYNINEGAR

Dewey Orell Wyninegar, age 102, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 16, 2020, at his residence surrounded by family.

Dewey was born April 25, 1918, in Flat Creek, Texas (near Marietta), to Daniel and Zora Wyninegar. He was retired from TXDOT as the Equipment Supervisor of District 19 in Atlanta, Texas, in 1984. Dewey was a WW II veteran and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, watching baseball, football, and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Rudolph and Clifford Wyninegar.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Dollie Wyninegar of Atlanta, Texas; four daughters, Judy Koehl and husband Bobby of Plano, Texas, Carolyn Clayton and husband Steve of Plano, Texas, Sandra Eaves and husband James “Dooley” of Gillsville, Georgia, Bobbie Gunn and husband Tim of Atlanta, Texas; six grandchildren, Robert Koehl, Morgan Colby, Matthew Eaves, Lysette Korenman, Christopher DePineda, Alan Gunn; great grandson, Harrison Korenman; and a number of other relatives.

Services were at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 21, 2020, in the Hanner Funeral Chapel with Rev. Arlistle Maxie officiating.

Visitation was from 4 pm to 6 pm, Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Hanner Funeral Service.
