Annie B. Moore

Annie B. Moore, age 80, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 1, 2021 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.

Annie was born July 6, 1940, in Oak Grove, Louisiana, to Ben and Hazel Husbands. She was retired from Atlanta ISD teaching for over 30 years at the primary school; she was a member of First Baptist Church, Atlanta; loved being outdoors and was an avid flower gardener. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Ezra Husbands, Charlie Husbands, Bill Husbands, Frank Husbands; and her parents.

She is survived by her husband, James Moore of Atlanta, Texas; son, Lee Moore of Austin, Texas; daughter, Kacy Cenac of Houma, Louisiana; brother, Floyd Husbands of Sparkman, Arkansas; three sisters, Nita Guthrie of Taylor, Arkansas, Janice Slater of Neosho, Missouri, Shelia Cedotal of Hamburg, Arkansas; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Atlanta, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Wes Mills and Bro. James Williams officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 1 pm to 2 pm at First Baptist Church, Atlanta.

Interment will be in Huffines Cemetery.
