Barbara Ann Miller Glass

December 29, 1937 - August 22, 2024

Barbara Ann Miller Glass, of Atlanta, Texas, passed away on August 22, 2024 at the age of 86, entering into her eternal home, the arms of Jesus and all loved ones who passed before her.

Barbara was born in Dillon, South Carolina on December 29, 1937 to Harvey and Maggie Miller. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her late husband and father of her children, Clyde Eugene “Pete” Glass Sr; her partner, Walter J. Nelson; her parents; sisters, Dorothy Louise Miller, Mary Minnie Miller, Alaine Esteen Miller Bryker, Carlee Miller Harper, Odessa Lee Miller, Jackie Marie Miller Griffin, Peggy Sue Miller Boone; brothers, James David “J.D.” Miller, Edward Warren Miller, Charles Andrew Miller and Russell Rogers Miller.

Barbara is survived by her son, Clyde Eugene Glass, Jr and wife Marcie of Queen City, Texas; daughter, Lynda Mae Glass McCoart-Cardoza and husband Patrick of Kaufman, Texas; granddaughter, Selena Frances McCoart of Kaufman, Texas; brother, David Miller and wife Sandra of Aberdeen, North Carolina; and a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Private services were held at Smyrna Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Alzeimers Alliance of Texarkana or the charity of your choice.
