Bobby R. Hale

Bobby R. Hale, age 87, of Bloomburg, Texas, went to be with the Lord Friday, May 28, 2021, at his residence surrounded by family.

Bobby was born October 10, 1933, in Caddo Parish, Louisiana in the Zylks Community, to James Carl and Jessie Hale. He was an Entrepreneur in the Timber, Oil and Cattle businesses, pioneering the timber industry with tree length logging. He attended Cross Creek Cowboy Church. He enjoyed working his garden and making a deal. Work was his passion and he taught his kids to work from an early age, he was also a good provider for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Carl and Jessie Hale; brother, Jake Hale; sisters, Gayle Underwood and Laverne Martin.

He is survived by his children, Elaine Hale Orr and husband Ricky of Atlanta, Texas, Debbie Hale of Bloomburg, Texas; Ralph Hale and wife April of Bloomburg, Texas, Paul Hale and wife Billie Jo of Queen City, Texas, Craig Hale of Bloomburg, Texas; two brothers, Melvin R. Hale and D.K. Hale both of Odessa, Texas; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Concord Cemetery, Miller County, Arkansas, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. A. P. Martin officiating.

Visitation was held Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hanner Funeral Service.
