E.R. “Peanut” Riddle
E.R. “Peanut” Riddle, 92, of Linden, Texas passed away November 18, 2019. Mr. Riddle was born August 23, 1927 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Edward Buchannan Riddle and Iva Mae Thomas Riddle. “Peanut” was a member of the First Baptist Church in Linden, a life time member of the VFW Post 6968 and a WWII Navy Veteran.
He is survived by one
sister, Jewel Echols; son, James and Jan Riddle; daughter, Lydia Alexander and Bob Graves; three grandsons, Dalton Riddle and fiance Hannah Cervanka, Chris Howard, Billy Ray and Christy Lee; three great-grandchildren, Jacob Howard, Grace Lee, Annabelle Lee; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special family friends Brad and Shannon Jackson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Iva Riddle; wife Bennie Mae Riddle; son, Eddie Ray Riddle and one sister, Perl Davis.
Services were at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2019 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial followed in the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
