Lois Elliott

Lois McCasland Elliott, age 90, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 22, 2019 in an Atlanta, Texas hospital.

Lois was born November 4, 1928 in Atlanta, Texas to James and Nora Griffin McCasland. She was retired from First National Bank; a member of Calvary Tabernacle and was proclaimed by her friends and family to be “mayor of the Antioch Community”. She enjoyed spending time with family and working crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter B. Elliott; daughter, Jacqueline Elliott; and grandson, Byron Elliott Frost.

She is survived by her son, Rick Elliott and wife Rhonda of Queen City, Texas; four grandchildren, Stephanie Pickett, Jennifer White, Brad Elliott, Amanda Hailey; eleven great-grandchildren, Elliott Smith, Kayleigh White, Eli Elliott, Ellie June Elliott, Stacie Harris, Skyler Hailey, Keylee Hailey, River Holcomb, Laken Holcomb, Dillan White, Makenzie White; three great-great-grandchildren, Faith Harris, Freya Harris, Jace Harris; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Calvary Tabernacle under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Billy Dupree and Bro. Sam Wisdom officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 1 pm to 2 pm at Calvary Tabernacle.

Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.
