Patricia Ryan Keesee

Patricia Ryan Keesee passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, at the Longview Regional Medical Center in Longview, Texas. She was 81.

Patricia was born on June 11, 1940, in Longview, Texas to Guy Gerald and Wilma Findley Ryan. She received her bachelor’s degree from East Texas Baptist University, and her master’s degree from Texas A & M – Commerce. She taught in the Hooks, Marshall and Linden public schools for over 25 years. She was a member of several professional education associations, and was a licensed member of the American Radio Relay League. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Linden, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy Joe Keesee, a sister Carolyn Haskell, and a son Eddy Keesee. She is survived by a daughter Kim Williams (John) of Linden, Texas, and a son Todd Keesee of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kade Keesee, Keri Dickson (Ben), Brooke Price (Blake) and Kelsey Stanton (Clifton), great-grandchildren Madison and Corbin Price, Adalynn Stanton, Kylie Dickson, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Linden, Texas, on Tuesday, July 27, at 11 a.m. Burial followed in the Linden Cemetery and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. There was a viewing Monday, July 26, from 6-8 p.m. at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Linden, TX.
