On July 3, Atlanta Police Department reported that “one of our own” has passed away on July 1, 2020. Marie Hobbs served the community as an Atlanta Police 911 Dispatch Communications Officer and supervisor for more than 27 years. The police department gave a special thanks to her “loyalty, dedication, and service to this community, you will be missed.” Reported from APD Facebook page.
