Whitlow, Wells lift at state meet

Atlanta High School lifters Avery Whitlow and Jaden Wells competed at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association’s State Meet On Mar. 26, in Abilene. Whitlow placed sixth overall in his weight class after squatting 365 pounds, benching 190 and deadlifting 405 pounds for a total of 960 pounds. Wells placed 13th in his weight class after squatting 550 pounds, benching 325 and deadlifting 500 pounds for a total of 1,425 pounds. Photos by MAGGI WHITLOW
