M.U.M.S. had their first STEAM Extravaganza on Sep.25. Students rotated through stations including; coding, think tank problem solving, Makey Makey, digital escape rooms, and virtual field trips.
The evening of Oct. 15 may have been a chilly evening, but that did not stop fans and supporters of Linden-Kildare High School from showing their school spirit at the 2020 Homecoming parade. While some cheered from the warmth of their cars parked along the square, most flooded the sidewalks with children and grandchildren looking for the chance to grab the coveted prizes being thrown from the floats.
Ann Gaskin was the program speaker and special guest at the 903 Artisans’ last meeting recently. She is an award-winning photographer.
Just in time for the cool Fall temperatures, Atlanta’s new downtown coffee bar is open at 113 Hiram Street. Atlanta Barista Coffee Bar and Bakery, owned by Melissa and Ken Smith, is open Monday through Saturday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
