There’s always been objections to Christianity, but a growing concern is that these objections get “air-time” on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter where millions of people, including Christians, can start to question the Bible.
The Queen City Alumni Association has announced the recipients of their annual scholarship. The following students will each be receiving $500 to further their education: Elizabeth Dotson, Brylee Everett, Keri Fomby, Jace Gauldin, Madison Heldt, Chauncett Miles, Karlee Sullivan, and Clayton Whittenberg.
Atlanta Public Library had a free Mosaic Stepping Stone art class Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. where 12 community members explored their creative side and got to take their new artwork home.
Atlanta Area Rotary Club has been busy, again, or should I say, still? Every spring we face the challenging task of selecting our scholarship winners. We had close to 30 applications, which means that’s not an easy job. Thanks to Doug Saffel and his team of Kate Stow, Amanda Jackson and Meredith McLeod Dunton, six winners were named.
