Union Chapel Methodist Church will be hosting a Christmas gathering. Holidays are a busy time of year, so mark your calendars for December 12, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. because you are invited to come to join them. Please bring your favorite covered dish to share. They will have live entertainment. Their fellowship hall will be open at 5:30 p.m. for those who wish to come early and visit.

It seems pretty obvious that I need to be thinking about Thanksgiving as I sit to write this article. Each of us really ought to take more than just a moment to get our minds around the thought of being thankful for all our blessings. Too often we focus on what we aren’t, what we don’t have, why we aren’t….(fill in the blank), etc.
