The Martinez family organized an event on Friday to celebrate the Texas Independence sponsored by STAR “D” FARM. David Martinez from Linden felt it was important as a native Texan to promote Texas and all its rich and proud history. Also, his family wanted to share that remembrance and celebration with the Cass County residents.

This week the club welcomed Mike Maloney (pictured left) with Friends of Scouting and Kenneth Adams (pictured center) the Caddo Area Council Commissioner. Also pictured are Lions Billy Hensley, Kellie Cox, and Stuart Smith.

Mountains and valleys are places every Christian will surely find themselves in. At some point, we all go through valleys, and at some point, we all find ourselves waving a victory flag on the mountaintop, knowing good and well we didn’t get there on our own.
