Chuck Weerts is presented with a Rotary cup in appreciation of the information he gave about one focus of his duties in East Texas (the chunk of Texas from the Red River to Galveston). Chuck is the fire chief of Cass County Emergency Services District 2 in Queen City as well as being employed by Texarkana Fire Department,Texas Forest Service, the Sheriff’s Department, and… You begin to realize Chuck is very busy and doesn’t think of his work as a “j o b”, but a joy. He has been as far as California fighting fires and saving people,livestock,and houses. Hats off and thanks to all the people that Chuck represented.
