Lions Club District 2x2 District Governor (pictured fourth from left) Ricky Caughron attended the meeting today to meet the Atlanta Lions and to install a new member.Also pictured are Judge Travis Ransom,Billy Hensley,Debra Caughron (District 2x2 2nd Vice District Governor), Richard Wade and Jim Christian.The Lions will have their quarterly trash pickup on Saturday, October 22nd.

Linden Lions Club

Mike Riley, the City of Linden Street and Parks Director, spoke about park improvements and how the City is using native flora to keep costs down and provide a habitat for animals.

Queen City FFA competes in Longview

Eight members of the Queen City High School FFA competed in the Longview Invitational LDE contest last week and had great results. The FFA Broadcasting team placed first out of 19 teams and the team members are Taylor Ward, Kylie Parker and Reagan Hargrave.
