TxDOT officials appeal to drivers to slow down, pay attention
Fatalities due to vehicle crashes across the Atlanta District have been on a steady rise over the past few years, and officials with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) are sounding the alarm to drivers about this disturbing trend.
Focused Fest Vendor Health Fair
Linden Focused Care celebrated their Spring "Focused Fest Vendor Health Fair" on March 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The event featured area health vendors, food trucks and fun, along with plenty of swag. Lifeshare was at the fair looking for volunteers for their life saving blood donation services. Vendors, Visiting Angels, Wesley House, Dierksen Hospice, Heritage Hospice, LifeShare, Linden Taco Food Truck, and Focused Care at Linden were some of the vendors that participated.

Clare Wong and Trent Granberry were recently chosen for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award and attended the RYLA Leadership Camp in Athens, Texas on February 11-12. This opportunity is sponsored by the Atlanta Area Rotary Club.

In addition to the seven QCHS students chosen to attend Boys State and Girls State, senior Randall Campbell, who attended a “virtual” Boys State last summer, was selected to attend in person this year as a Boys State Counselor because of his outstanding participation at the 2021 conference.
