Several years back there was a thriving Ducks Unlimited organization here in Cass County. Rusty Anderson and a group of other DU enthusiasts are hoping to bring one back. On November 16 at 5:00 p.m. they will be holding a DU Banquet at the Music City Theater in Linden. The cost of the event will include a Ducks Unlimited membership.
Beloved area physician, Dr. Ted Dawson Trimble, was killed in a two-car collision on Highway 11 on Oct. 9. Trimble was 67.
The Atlanta Education Foundation hosted a reception and ceremony last Friday night at the high school library to honor four more Distinguished Alumni.
