Cass County citizens came out to vote for various key county and state races during the March 1st primary elections. The largest contested race in our county was for Cass County Judge, where current Atlanta Mayor, Travis Ransom defeated businessman Mike Lee.
Things are shaping up around L-K. Construction at Linden Elementary is coming along nicely. The estimated date of completion is mid-June and the facility should be completely ready to move in when the new school starts in August of 2022. It’s been reported that It looks absolutely amazing so far and should be a much-deserved addition to L-K.
Economic and community development representatives from across the nation participated in the Texas Community Development Institute (CDI Texas) March 2-3. Among those completing the Advanced course was Miranda Johnson, Executive Director of the Atlanta City Development Corporation.
