The Atlanta Debate Team

The Atlanta Debate Team went to Elysian Fields Saturday, January 22 with Cademon Larson and Ivy Alfaro winning two out of three rounds and finishing 7th overall in CX debate and Jon Kennedy winning two out three rounds and finishing 9th overall in LD debate. Ivy, Cademon, Jon, and Dasia Jeffley competed in Informative Extemporaneous Speaking with Ivy bringing home the 6th place medal. Congratulations to these fine students on their accomplishments.

AISD Chief of Police McDuffie took the Heart Conversation Tower Challenge in the STEAM Lab today. He wowed the crowds with a whopping 16 heart tower! Thanks, Chief, for all you do to encourage learning at our campus.
