Cass County continues to show a spike in Covid cases bringing a total of 50 new cases this month and no new fatalities according to the Texas Health and Human Services website.

Coleman display to be dedicated

A ceremony will be held at the Hall-Miller Municipal Airport in Atlanta on August 28th at 10 a.m. to dedicate a new Bessie Coleman memorial display, sponsored by the East Texas Republican Women.
Atlanta greets new librarian

On Aug. 5, the Atlanta Library welcomed the new librarian with a meet and greet hosted at Caffé Crema. Kendra Harrell is a bibliophile. Her love of books led her to a career as a librarian.
