Williams named new primary principal

Misty Williams brings with her 14 years in education - nine years in the classroom and five years as assistant principal and most recently she has served as the assistant principal at Altanta Middle School.
New Linden city manager to start soon

Lee Elliot will soon be taking over the reins in the new position that incorporates the Linden City Manager and Economic Developer. Elliot hopes to bring his broad executive-level city government experience to help the Linden community.
K9 fundraiser held for deputy

A fundraiser was held for Deputy Russell Anderson Friday, May 14 at Price Hardware to help raise money to acquire a K9 which will assist Anderson in cleaning the streets of Cass County of drugs. Food was provided in the form of barbeque sandwiches and a bake sale. The fundraiser was organized by Shelly Guthrie and started at 11 a.m, ending at 2 p.m.
