Sixth graders Mallory Hamilton and Bailee Black tackled a real world problem head on in their Gifted and Talented (GT) class at Morris Upchurch Middle School.
The Linden Lions Club sold their famous stew outside the City of Linden building to raise funds for the charitable work they do, including scholarships.
“This is a great opportunity to make the community more attractive, get rid of unwanted junk and save money and time by avoiding trips to the landfill”, Cockrell said.
The American Legion in Atlanta will be hosting a community garage sale. The sale, which will take place on April 17, will be open to anyone who has something to sell.
