As we march forward into the month of March, winter is holding back and spring is, well, springing forward. Spring means meals on the lighter side, and one Southern dish sure to please any crowd is Tuna Croquettes with a nice Tartar Sauce on the side. Don’t forget the sweet tea!

Lion’s Club of Linden met on Thursday, Feb. 27 with a packed house. The special guest speaker was Barry Jackson is the Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America troop in Linden. Jackson shared with the group all of the wonderfully fun and important skills the Scouts learn, the trips they attend, and answered many questions.
As you pass through life, there are things every day that cause crazy incredible stress and grate on your nerves continually. Sometimes they make you mad; sometimes give you the chills, like a finger nail on a chalk board. Sometimes your mind goes to the place where you think about “whatever” all day, and it drives you totally insane....maybe a song playing over and over and won’t go away; worse, you sing it all day long!
