LEDC’s Small Business Workshop is today

Doing something one loves and has a passion for, bring joy to the community are wonderful reasons to drop the nine to five and open a small café or boutique. There is, however, so much more to owning a small business than passion and that joy. Everything from inventory control, to taxes, and even networking properly are keys to opening and running a successful business.

Youth minister/teacher pleads guilty to child pornography charges

Robert Dale Barkman, 67, of Atlanta, pled guilty to two counts of possession with intent to promote child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography and was sentenced on Monday as part of a plea agreement. 5th Judicial District Judge Bill Miller sentenced Barkman to 10 years for each charge which will be served, consecutively.
