Services for James Kirkland, 87, of Athens, were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Hannigan Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Lilley officiating. Interment was at 3:00 p.m. at Corinth Cemetery in Linden, Texas.

James Paul Baker, age 82, of Douglassville, Texas, passed way of natural causes, Monday, April 18, 2022 in a Little Rock, Arkansas hospital. He was born May 26, 1939 to Paul Swint and Helen Bryan Baker in Texarkana, Arkansas.
Born and raised in Douglassville, Angela was one that could do it all. She was rough and tough from an early age and was known for riding horses, even the occasional bull to show her strength and determination. She continued to show these two characteristics throughout her life.
