Although the winners of the festival can win a scholarship, the main purpose of Fine Arts is to help students discover, develop, and deploy their God-given abilities and talents. Students experience a time of learning through evaluations, workshops, and interaction with other students.They are encouraged to develop their talents and then use them in their schools,churches,and communities. Congratulations to all the students who represented Atlanta!

With their dream home in East Texas as their headquarters, Micah and Carol McKinney are surrounded by family and big shade trees. The house, updated and decorated in the “hippie- chic” style, has been in the family for at least a century. Here, in the woods of Cass, Texas, is a perfect setting for their eclectic career choice.

Every year, the Assemblies of God Youth Ministries encourage youth from all over the nation to participate in a Fine Arts Festival. Beginning in September, over 65,000 junior and senior high school students begin preparing their entries for the District and National Fine Arts Festivals. Students may enter in over 80 categories in seven main divisions: Art, Communication, Dance, Drama, Instrumental, Vocal, and Writing. Entries are judged at the District Festival and only those students with a qualifying score receive an invitation to advance to nationals. This past week, 4500 youth participated and competed in The 2022 National Fine Arts Festival in Orlando, Fl.
