The American Legion, Department of Texas, today announced that on June 16, 2023, Austin Williams of Linden-Kildare High School graduated from the American Legion Texas Boys State.
Closer to the weekend Cass County may see some of the effects of the Saharan dust storm that has been the noted topic over the last couple of days. How much is yet to be seen, however since we are further north, Northeast Texas may only be mildly affected by the phenomenon. What should be seen is hazy skies and the colors of the sunset for most. However, the CDC recommends those with asthma and allergies take care.
The Cass County Genealogical Society will hold their membership meeting on Thursday, July 13th.
