New recycling/disposal site in Cass County

Moran announces campaign for District 1
As the result of redistricting Cass County will now be represented by the First Congressional District of Texas after the next congressional election. Congressman Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, who previously represented the district before Cass Counties’ inclusion, is giving up his seat to run for the Attorney General of Texas, currently held by Ken Paxton. With the position vacancy, Republican Smith County Judge Nathaniel Moran officially announced his campaign for the First Congressional District of Texas.
