This past weekend was our Annual Chamber Banquet and Community Awards Ceremony. The event theme was “Treasure,” and the focus was on collections of precious things. Our award recipients were: Business of the Year: Bob’s Printing, Educator of the Year: Larry Breashears (Atlanta ISD), Man of the Year: Dr. Richard Hozdic, Woman of the Year: Marilyn Cobb, and Youth of the Year: Claire Bates (Queen City ISD). This group of special treasures are certainly a precious collection.
