The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking for help from the public in the investigation of a hitand-run crash that resulted in the death of a pedestrian on US 59 about three miles south of Jefferson.
Danica Porter made history in November 2011, when she became the first African American female to become city secretary of Atlanta, Texas. She is a native of Nash and graduated from Texas High School.
