Daughters welcome two new members

The Mark Epperson Chapter United States Daughters of 1812 welcomed two new members at its July meeting. Each received a white carnation, national flower of the lineage society, from Chapter Registrar Nancy Belford. First picture is Nancy Belford and Betty Terry Matthews. Second picture is Nancy Belford and Davy Jo Rogers Williams. Any woman who can prove linear descent from a War of 1812 patriot and is interested in becoming a member is welcome to contact Kay Stephens at 903-756-7390 or Nancy Belford at 903-756-8795.
